Referral Reward Programme

1. Promoter. Fortis Caravans Ltd, 10 Downing Street, Palmerston North 4412 (“Fortis”).
2. Who can refer. This programme is for existing Fortis caravan owners only. You must be a current Fortis owner aged 18+ resident in New Zealand (“Referrer”). Fortis staff and their immediate families are not eligible to receive a referral reward.
3. What is a valid referral. A referral is valid only when all of the following are met:
   • The person referred (“New Owner”) is genuinely new to Fortis — not an existing customer and not already an active enquiry/lead known to Fortis at the time the referral is submitted;
   • The referral is submitted through Fortis’s official referral form before the New Owner’s first sales enquiry or purchase, with the New Owner’s correct contact details;
   • The Referrer confirms they have the New Owner’s permission to share their contact details with Fortis (Privacy Act 2020); and
   • The New Owner proceeds to purchase and fully settle on a Fortis caravan (see clause 5).
   Where two people claim the same referral, Fortis’s records determine the valid Referrer, and Fortis’s decision is final.
4. The New Owner’s $1,000 discount. A $1,000 discount is applied to the New Owner’s caravan purchase price at the time of order. It is not transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash by the New Owner, and applies to one caravan per referred purchase.
5. The Referrer’s $1,000 reward — when it’s paid. The reward becomes payable only once the New Owner’s purchase has fully settled (full payment received by Fortis and the caravan handed over/delivered). No reward is payable if the sale is cancelled, refunded, or does not complete. One reward is payable per caravan purchased by a referred New Owner.
6. The Referrer’s $1,000 reward — how it can be taken. At the Referrer’s choice, the reward may be taken as credit toward accessories, parts or servicing supplied by Fortis, or as a cash settlement paid by bank transfer.
   • Tax & billing: all rewards are subject to tax. Any tax payable on a reward, and any invoicing or billing required, are the Referrer’s responsibility. Fortis may require valid billing, invoice or GST details before releasing a reward, and will account for tax and GST as required by law.
7. Payments. All monetary rewards are paid by bank transfer — no cash handovers — consistent with Fortis’s anti-money-laundering obligations.
8. Limits & combination with other offers. One $1,000 reward and one $1,000 New Owner discount per referred purchase. The offer may not be combined with other discounts or promotions unless expressly agreed by Fortis in writing.
9. Changes. Fortis may amend, suspend or withdraw the referral programme at any time. Referrals already valid under clause 3 at the time of any change will be honoured.
10. Privacy. Personal information (Referrer’s and New Owner’s) is collected to administer the programme and is handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and Fortis’s privacy policy.
11. General. These terms govern the referral programme. To the extent permitted by law, Fortis is not liable for any loss arising from participation. The programme is governed by the laws of New Zealand.
